Australian States

Postby NickOg » Sun Nov 09, 2008 1:22 am

Hi,

a great time saving product - many thanks. And of course much more!

I can't find how to so configure lastpass so that states other than the USA are available in the form fill in package. I bet there is some method and I can't find it. Could I get some pointers please? I have looked as far as i can.

Regards

Nick

ps I would offer an Australian translation but I doubt that would help :D

hi Nick,

We've changed the state box to be an editable text field - it will be available in an upcoming release
(version 1.36 - hopefully on Nov 17, 2008)

Thanks,

I gather that didn't make it into 1.36. Next time?

It's in there -- when you edit the field in the plugin you can type any text for 'State', looks like we need to do it at the website too.

Now I must be missing something. Can't find anywhere to type that in. I guess I am not sure what you mena by the plug in if it isn't the tool bar in the top right of Firefox. Must go see if i can find some reference. I suspect i am not getting everything fromlastpass as yet. Will browse the forum before I posts some quetsions.

Thanks again for the rapid reply!

Assuming you're running 1.36, the "State / Province" entry box in the toolbar's "Edit Form Fill Profile" dialog should still be a dropdown, but it should also allow freeform text input. Is this not the case for you?

Hi Drew,

Definitely 1.36 - see attach EFFP03.jpg
effp03.JPG
- being careful here :) - and as far as I can see I can't type into the state boxes . In one case there is no box to type into - just the drop down (EFFP01.jpg)

and in the other, while there is a box to type into (EFFP02.jpg)

typing in N brings up Nebraska (EFFP04.jpg)

when I want NSW!

any chance I need a unintall/reinstall?

Be damned! It has just twigged! Just type on the bar and it works fine. I just hadn't seen it done that way. Neat! Please disregard all this

Further to this one - that works OK on the lastpass home page but not on the https://lastpass.com site. So the form fill on that site doesn't have the same content as on the chrome://lastpass/content/home.xul site,\
