OSX app extremely slow

Copying a password with the OSX app using quick search and copy password takes ~ 15 seconds. Lastpass web content eats 100%+ cpu. This problem did not exist prior to 4.32.0.

LP Version 4.32.0
OSX Mojave 10.14.6 (18G95)
Once I click on anything in quick Search, it freezes for ~20 seconds.

Currently absolutely unusable and have to run alternative Password Manager to circumvent that. Is this a known issue?

Same here. It would be good if the OP could update the subject to "OSX quick search extremely slow" as there's a big difference between the performance of the entire app and just quick search.

I've created a ticket with LastPass support, reporting this issue in detail along with Activity Monitor details about the LastPass Web Content process that eats up CPU after launching quick search, and a 'sample' of the process that appears to show some kind of loop in the javascript that runs quick search. I've also completely removed the LastPass app and reinstalled it, including manually deleting preferences, config files, and caches from ~/Library with no difference. Hopefully this will be sufficient info for them to fix it.

Nice one @jas8522 - is this a public ticket, or a private one? If public, please share a link, so we can upvote it. If private, would you mind sharing the title and description here? I wouldn't mind creating one too myself, so maybe this will get more visibility.

Hey macalac,

Private ticket to my knowledge. I'm gathering further logging for their devs now.

The ID is: 11847616 there isn't really a title and description with the logmein ticket system as far as I can tell -- just that case ID in the subject.
