Autopay did not occur with paypal-Now in Trial mode

My account has gone into a premium trial account because the auto-pay feature that has been set up since 2009 did not get sent to PayPal. I realize they are not dealing much longer with PP, but their website says any previous setup auto-pay with PP would still work.

I tried to cancel the auto-pay, but the only option I find is that I can cancel the payment that should have been submitted. When I click on the "cancel" link it tells me that it has to be done within PP. Paypal only gives me the option to cancel a pending payment, but the payment request was apparently never made from LP so I have no pending payment requests.

Customer service wasn't much help, their instruction were to do exactly what I had already tried. If I can't make a payment soon, my account will revert to the free status and unfortunately, I will loose the premium features.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so were you able to solve the problem?

Who knew it would be so hard to give my money to LP?
