The Translator's shortkeys

Postby milymumin » Wed May 13, 2009 4:10 pm

Hi. I've found current shortkeys quite frustrating (emphasis on Home and End). They should be changed, because now they seem to be unnatural since most of users expect eg. Home key to work as it's known to be. Personally I can't get used to it.

I second that. When editing the translation text box I would like to use home/end to jump within and between the lines as per default, instead of being catapulted into a different line altogether. Happens to me all the time...
Maybe the current shortcut setting could be disabled for the text boxes?

Please, please, please, let the HOME and END keys work as in any word processor.
I'm going mad because I'm used to them so I'm jumping all over the translation...

This has been changed.

Home and End behave as expected.
(They have been replaced by Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End)

Let us know if you also want something similar to happen with PageDown + PageUp.
(Currently they move to the next/previous item)
