I've been using LastPass for quite a while, and have loved the Android support. However, I too must ask that we be given the ability to completely, 100%, absolutely disable the browser functionality within LastPass for Android. Even though I have my default browsers all set, and finally get to the point where I'm no longer being asked if I want to use LastPass to open links, whenever I directly open LastPass from my app drawer, the first thing it does is try to show the LastPass browser's home page.

Hint: If I'm opening the LastPass app, it's to login and wake it up because it didn't automatically detect the password field in whatever app or website I was just in. It is not because I want to torture myself with a completely different browser that lacks any of my bookmarks, preferences, or cookies. All I want is for LastPass to open to the login dialog, and as soon as I login, go straight to my Vault. Not the browser.

Please, give us the option to completely disable the browser feature in LastPass for Android.

Mine goes straight to the vault when I login to the app. I don't know what the problem could be without seeing what you're doing.

I do the following:

1. Open the app drawer.

2. Tap on LastPass icon.

3. Watch as the LastPass browser tries to open its homepage.

4. Tap on LastPass icon in upper-left corner.

5. Login to LastPass.

That isn't how it appears to me at all. If I'm not logged in to LastPass on the device, it prompts me before it opens the app at all.

Have you unchecked "Tabbed Appearance" in the preferences?

Yup. Does it with tabbed interface or non-tabbed.

At what point do you put in your PIN?

I don't put in a PIN anywhere. I enter a password, and have LastPass set to require password re-entry rather than use a PIN.

Perhaps that setting is the difference in our settings that makes ours go straight to the vault and yours have the odd flow?

So, I see this is still not implemented. LastPass, care to explain why I would ever want Android to prompt me for every web link with a choice for LastPass? I literally never want this to happen. Ever, ever ever.
