In addition to native support for U2F/FIDO2 in Safari, Apple also announced that iOS 13 will support NFC tag writing as part of the "enhancements" to Apple's "Core NFC" framework at WWDC 2019: https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2019/715/https://developer.apple.com/documentation/corenfc
That's great news, but it'll be up to individual developers like LastPass to actually implement NFC tag writing support for U2F/FIDO2 in their iOS 13 apps. Does the dev team plan to update LastPass on iOS to support this feature when it becomes available?
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but it looks like this would allow for use of products like the Yubikey 5 NFC with the LastPass iOS app via U2F/FIDO2
(instead of the existing, less secure TOTP Yubikey/LastPass iOS functionality).
