Mac App - Please restore keyboard shortcut for Quick Search

Today I installed the updated LastPass app for Mac, version 4.24.0 (649). I was disappointed to find that I can no longer use the ⇧⌘L shortcut to access Quick Search. Once I had become accustomed to that shortcut, I really learned to appreciate it. Now I don't find the quick search to be much faster than just going to a website the usual way and relying on autofill.

I second this request! Not only is the keyboard shortcut for opening Quick Search gone, but so are the keyboard shortcuts to copy the password/username. On top of that, the search box is slow to come up and not very responsive... "Quick Search" has become not so quick.

I think key and hotkeys support is just 100% broken on Mac with version 4.24.0.

Hopefully they'll fix it soon and add some new unit tests or function tests to verify this won't happen again. ;-p

I was able to set a new keyboard shortcut, but it should be there by default.

How were you able to add a hotkey? I can't even see 'Quick Search' in the hotkey list.
I want to have that back too, though, because without I don't see any point in keeping it, has it is way more cumbersome than the browser version is.

I second this: The old "quick search" was my primary method of interfacing with LastPass. I liked how seamlessly it worked and got very used to it. Suddenly Lastpass feels like it's been "downgraded" to some previous, more primitive version with less functionality. I miss this command and don't understand why it's not even listed in the "hotkeys" section of preferences anymore. Please bring back quick search!

potential work around:
Automator,
New Document -> Quick Action.
Work flow receives no input.
Drag "Run AppleScript" over, then paste in:
Code: Select All Code
tell application "System Events"
   tell process "LastPass"
click menu item "Quick Search" of menu "Window" of menu bar 1
   end tell
end tell

Name and save that as whatever then in
system-preferences - keyboard - shortcuts
your "quick action" should be available under "Services - General"
You'll need to make sure that "System Preferences" has accessibility toggled in "Security & Privacy" - "Privacy". Note, it seems to request permission for every app that it's triggered from. Not sure the solution for that, other than to always click the desktop somewhere so as to trigger from finder.

Unbelievable how badly they manage to screw things up in new releases. I submitted a support ticket about this a week ago and no response...

Go to the preferences in the Mac App and choose the Hotkeys tab. Click in the "Site Search" box and press all of your preferred keys to use. Click Save.

That behaves the same as the former Global/Quick search.

It probably shouldn't say "Site" search because it really searches sites and notes.

It doesn't really behave the same, because you can't use a keyboard shortcut to copy the password anymore. ⌘C does not do so on my Mac, and I have to use the mouse, which defeats the whole purpose.
