This is horrible customer support. For eight months, many users have requested the ability to edit custom templates. It appears LogMein is completely ignoring it's customers. If your developers don't know how to make them editable, perhaps a clone function would be simpler, so we can at least edit a clone instead of recreating from scratch.

If your developers don't know how to make [custom templates] editable...

Or, more likely, LogMein management is expecting a free ride on the past success of LastPass and doesn't understand the importance of responding to customer needs/requests...

This is an important feature and it is baffling that it is still not in there.

Another vote for ability to edit a custom type. Can't possibly get it right the first time.

I just wanted to edit a template today and had to realize this possibility is not yet implemented. That seems like quite a severe oversight on your part.

Please add this.

This is a must have feature and surprised it has not been implemented already. Custom forms will absolutely need to be adjusted and tweaked as they develop. Currently we have to create a new template and manually copy into it which is hideously painful. Fields should be deletable, addable and field names changeable. Field types changeable where practical (e.g. text to password. Dates are more tricky obviously). Please can this be added.

Just a MASSIVE thumbs up for this feature. How anyone knows what might be needed in the future is beyond me. From a software dev point of view, an edit feature should be quite a simple feature addition and would make at this point over 14K users quite happy :D
Please, please, please @lastpass.

Another VOTE for this feature.

Just tried to create my first custom item type while evaluating LastPass Teams, and I somehow hit save before I finished adding fields.

  • Now I have an incomplete template, with no way of fixing it.
  • While it is true that I can delete it and start over, that is an absolutely horrid user experience.
  • As it stands, I'll need to delete and re-create even if I need to just to fix a small typo that crept in during template creation.

I agree with statements made by others on this thread as well that it is near impossible to see into the future in regards to a potentially new field one might need to add to a template at some point.

Not having the ability to edit/update the template for a custom item type is a very jagged pill to swallow here.

Another vote for this! It's a hassle to have to create a new custom template (and copy over everything from the old template) every time that I merely want to edit a current one!
