ABSOLUTELY!!! I was logging on to state this need. Not only is it thoughtless design, assuming what we want to name something. The fact that it is still this way 7 months later with no response from LastPass Management is NOT a good sign for the future of LastPass. ... I've been using Roboform for over 15 years, and concurrently with LastPass for about 7 years. THIS one issue, the annoying extra time, is making me question whether to just drop LastPass completely and set all my clients up on only Roboform in the future.

The lame part about this is that in an older version of Lastpass - probably from at least 2-3 years back - you used to be able to edit the name when adding the site. Now the option just isn't there. Please bring this feature back!

+1000 for this!! This is essential functionality.

Ideally, we'd also be able to add a site directly into a folder upon creation, but it seems like if we can't even edit the site name, I have low expectations that anything additional would be possible.

Fingers crossed this feature gets implemented!!

Looks like I'm not alone... I'm a long time RoboForm user too and I just downloaded LastPass to compare and perhaps switch to it but, not being able to edit sites name upon creation is driving me bananas. I'll most likely stay with RoboForm.
This feature omission from LastPass is definitely a step backwards.

I am not sure I understand. When adding a new site, there's option to edit name as well.

Do you have a screenshot to show how?
There certainly isn't this option in this screenshot I just took: https://imgur.com/4pWyTl7

Although the auto-add feature could be very useful, I don't use it specifically because there is no way to name it or get to the full edit screen for the new site. Instead I have to manually add the site with a bunch of clicks and cut/paste afterwards. How this could pass muster with the product development team I'll never know. (I, too, found this forum for the first time specifically for a resolution to this so-obvious problem.)

Bump this up. This would improve also my LastPass usage so much and probably the same for countless other power/professional users. LastPass, please push this up on your roadmap! Not a huge feature but so valuable.
