Passphrase option on the password generator tool

In light of the upcoming NIST guide lines concerning passphrases I would like to see that be an option in LastPass' Generate Secure Password Tool. The make pronounceable is close but not quite. Maybe integrate the Diceware system. True it won't be a true diceware system but it should be good enough for most of us.

Also in light of the upcoming NIST guidelines, run our generated password against a commonly used and known compromised password list.

I agree, I'm actually close to migrating to 1Password just for this feature. I don't trust myself to come up with truly random passphrases and there have been plenty of instances where the non-human friendly LP passwords have been a significant burden on something I'm trying to do.

I'm bumping this thread with the same request. A passphrase option for the password generator tool would be great. Just trying to type in a generated password to a website is very cumbersome and prone to typos/mistakes. A passphrase is much easier to remember and more secure.

Rebumping with an update: moved to 1password, very happy with it even though I'm paying more. All it took was a single feature.

Bump as I agree this would be a great feature to have.

Adding my bump for this.

I'm a long-time 1Password user. I'm now using LastPass at work, and considering switching personally. I was surprised that LastPass lacked Diceware password generation (like 1Password has had for some years now).

Sure I use the more obscure (non-word) passwords for logins that I will never have to manually type, but there are many that I have to sometimes type. (I have to enter credentials on many types of devices that don't support password managers: Apple TV, Steam Link, my car dashboard, etc.)

Me too. I have been wanting this feature for years. 1Pass has it, why not lastpass??

I fifth the motion to add this. Is anyone from lastpass looking at it? There's lots of simple websites that have implementations.

As an enterprise Admin, I am also in favor of this feature especially because of the latest NIST guidelines. Please introduce this feature as soon as possible. Thank you.
