Well, that's it.

Poor quality control that lets BUGs (not feature requests) through in the first place, no fix for the simple problem and can't even keep the bug report where it belongs and now they're doubling the price.

I'm out.

App-icon not displaying properly in menu bar

Hi there,

For some reason my Lastpass-app-icon doesn't display correctly for some time now. It's been like this for at least the last two weeks, possibly more.
Here's a screenshot how it looks like in my menu bar (The very left icon, once selected, once in "background"):

I tried the following:

- restart Mac
- restart Lastpass
- delete Lastpass
- re-download Lastpass

Using Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29) and Lastpass Version 3.22.2 (392)

Mods: This is still not a feature request. It is, and always has been, a bug. Please move it to the correct forum.

I opened a ticket on this and received the following response:

Our higher department have been able to reproduce the issue and reported it to the development team. I have added your ticket number to the internal report that has been made for this issue. Please do note that there is no ETA on when this issue will be fixed. But rest assured that your report about this case has been escalated for review.

Workaround for #1 is use a lighter theme for the time being.


I would recommend any Lastpass Premium subscribers open a ticket on this as well.

If you look on Twitter you'll see that's been the response since as early as July 6th.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting much else. That said, if Premium users open tickets on this issue, it might demonstrate the scope and encourage a fix sooner rather than later. I personally will not be renewing my Premium subscription until this and another bug (regarding macbook discrete video card usage) are fixed.

I'm with you there. We have other bugs as well so we're evaluating other options right now. Doubling the price during a period when people were complaining every day to our IT group about various issues kind of brought the whole thing to a head.

Good luck with your bugs! Hope they get to them soon.

Same here. It's been bugging me for weeks now! I thought it's a system issue on my side, but now it looks like it's a LastPass issue. Would love to see it fixed!
