I keep checking back here to see if/when LastPass Chrome extension will be supporting Touch ID on the MacBook.

It looks like Chrome will soon support MacBook Pro's Touch ID natively for website authentication. As a LastPass customer, I expect Chrome's new MBP Touch ID support to be able to draw passwords from my LastPass vault and I expect, when logging into the LastPass Chrome extension, to be able to use the MBP Touch ID instead of having to enter my LastPass passphrase. Are my expectations too high?

Any progress on this? Since chrome beta support touch id, this shouldn't be a problem now.

It would appear that all Touch ID support has been removed from the latest version of the LP app (4.25.0). It never worked properly anyway...

Why hasn't this been implemented? 1Password has done it successfully, it seems:

Come on, LastPass! I get that LastPass is free and 1Password is paid, but Touch ID has been available for 3 years! At least if a staff member could tell us what's going on, or whether there are any plans at all to implement it, that'd be great...

Lastpass people... Every secure app I know is moving to using fingerprint identification. You yourselves support TouchID on your Mac app. Can you please respond to this 10-page thread from users asking you to add TouchID support to your Chrome Plug-in for Mac? This is an obvious requirement, and you are 3-years behind. 1Password has implemented it. Need we say more?

Yes, it's very disappointing. I've decided to switch to 1Password when my license comes up for renewal in December 2019, if not supported by then.
