Any updates here? This would go a long way to further secure my MacBook Pro with Touch ID.

+1...patiently waiting...i mean impatiently waiting.
I use fingerprint login on my desktop PC with windows hello.
my question is: will i be able to use Touch ID on my 2016 mac laptop without messing up Windows Hello on my desktop PC?

Seriously still not implemented, not even a word?
1password has it for months now.

What is the problem implementing this with Lastpass? I imagine that it's some work, but come on people! Touch ID is not going away anytime soon!

Make it a paid feature if you'd like, but this makes me question a lot of things about future development, therefore keeping our information secure, of Lastpass. I'm serious.

TouchID Support for Browser Extensions

Postby icedub » Mon Mar 27, 2017 7:01 am

I was really happy to see that LP finally added support for the touchID in the MacOS app for the 2016 MacBook pros. Does anyone know if they plan to extend this feature to the Chrome browser extension? It's certainly nice to be able to use TouchID in the app, but the majority of my use of LastPass is in the browser where I get re-prompted to enter my password for things like Credit Cards and other form fills. Why no TouchID there?

Chrome and Safari extensions. I thought that's what it would be, to be honest. That's how it was on my Windows laptop. Try and autofill a username/password field and touch the fingerprint sensor instead of typing the Master Password...

TouchID authentication on new Macbook Pros

Postby rodalpho » Fri Apr 28, 2017 12:47 pm

I was surprised to see that Lastpass browser addons still can't authenticate with TouchID on new Macbook Pros. Please add this feature.

Another MBP 2016 Touchbar user, would love to be able to use this feature for the Chrome extension!
