I vote for U2F support too.
I just ordered a yubikey neo and 3 cheaper u2f keys. I really hope the U2F will be widely supported.

Since it's affiliated with Yubico, I'm sure that LastPass will support it. You early adopters might have to wait a few weeks.

I can confirm that it has been added to the roadmap, but no ETA yet.

I just got my Yubico U2F key thinking that I could use it as I have done with Google. Hoping it gets added to LastPass as well

+1 for FIDO U2F support in Lastpass, for myself as well as my parents who are smart phone resistant so other forms of MFA are more difficult for them. This is inexpensive, easy, and to a good degree more secure.

+1 I would be more than willing to get Lastpass premium if I could use one key for lastpass + google auth.

For now I don't want to have one key for each authentication service, so I don't need the premium lastpass account.

As soon as you activate U2F, i'll be ready to buy the premium package with a U2F key !

bhoar Wrote:Thanks for the info! A similar fix approach has been discussed on the yubico forums, so my initial problem is solved.

But, I'd like to continue to lobby lastpass to consider a password + U2F token method integrated into lastpass for folks who have purchased U2F-only tokens, whether from yubico or others. :)

I agree as I'm one of them that have purchased the blue u2F key only after google started supporting it.
Was excited to be getting a security key as I recalled being able to use them with LastPass, but after getting my new blue U2F only key I find out it don't work with LastPass. It also don't work for registering a yubico forum account, what's up with that?

So now I have a $50 yubico key coming as my cheaper blue U2F keys don't work on half the stuff I wanted to use them for, lol...

I hope with google now using U2F keys we see more sites follow their lead.
