Windows 10 & Edge Browser Support

Postby jason795 » Tue Mar 31, 2015 6:25 pm

Spartan is out today in the preview Windows 10 builds (and it's pretty nice). It's clear that it's the successor to IE -- what are your support plans? I look forward to switching. Thanks.

I'm sure LastPass will eventually support it once Microsoft releases information for extensions developers.

I finally got the updated build working on my notebook at work. I am trying out Spartan with some websites, and like the lean look of it. I will check it especially against some of the websites I have had to use Firefox or Chrome with in the past. I do miss my LastPass support, but this is a really new bit of code that Microsoft is working on, and of all the comments I will make to Microsoft developers on this is if they do not release the plug-in support parameters for this browser, they will be hurting some good people too!

It wouldn't make sense for Internet Explorer to support add-ons but the new browser not to,

Lastpass for Microsoft Edge (formerly known as Spartan)

Postby kiefter462 » Thu Apr 30, 2015 9:42 am

Will you be releasing a LastPass app/extension for Microsoft Edge (formerly known as project Spartan) for the upcoming Windows 10?

Seems the extensions are silimar to the ones from Chrome.

Thanks!

Need Support for Sparta, too - I'm currently in the process of updating all devices.

Extension support for the browser won't be available until after it is released to manufacturing. You'll have to wait several weeks.
