Midori -

Postby Quinco6 » Sun Mar 01, 2015 12:09 am

Would like to be able to use Lastpass with Midori. Midori is the only browser small enough for me to use in an Intel NUC using the eMMC (4gig) to boot Linux Lite.

Yes I was also looking for a plugin which would work with midori. I'm guessing that there's no intention of making one?

Midori is the default browser for Bodhi Linux, so it's on my system right now.

Are you able to get it to do a SSL handshake, however? I can't. Without this, I don't know if it could work with LastPass ...

I have both Midori and Iceweasel on my Salix laptop so I would also be interested in this. Funny enough i am also thinking about switching my windows PC's to Midori as well.

Has anyone tried using the "pocket" versions yet?

What would it take to test the SSL handshakes in Midori?

Chiming in to bump this thread because Midori support would be great. It is default on Manjaro LXDE (and other LXDE systems I'm sure) and is blazing fast on old hardware. There's no reason to always be running these "overkill" modern browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox) hogging resources all the time. With LastPass on Midori I would only use Chrome or Firefox if a particular site requires it, but otherwise keep it simple with Midori. You really notice no LastPass when you switch to browser without it...

Make that seven people who would like to see a Midori extension. I am considering migrating to Elementary OS which uses Midori as the default browser, however I need to make sure Lastpass will be available before doing so.
