Vote For What New Features are Most Important To You

Does LastPass not support something that is important for you?
Here's the place to make it happen.

You can vote for 3 features. If your feature isn't listed, please post a topic so we can add it to the list.

We'll be paying a great deal of attention to this list and it will significantly influence our product roadmap.

Thanks for using LastPass!

KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

Postby d0g » Tue Aug 26, 2008 3:48 pm

One of the nicest features of RoboForm, and to a lesser extent 1Password, are the keyboard shortcuts.

Most useful is a shortcut for bringing up a 'search window' which live-filters your passcards, so you can easily find a site and auto-login.

I would also prefer an option to use a hotkey to auto-fill or auto-login to a site.

Thanks for voting.

I've added WinMobile to the list along with hotkey support.

As for:
Import from passwords plus
Import from turbopassword

If you're willing to help us test it, simply send us a sample file (with your personal info removed) and we'll implement it.

Thanks,

I am a prospective transplant from several years with RoboForm and the thing I can't do without is secure form filling - specifically credit card data. When I shop online RoboForm offers to complete payment information for me, then afterward confirms that it has done so in case I authorized it in error. The wallet stays in the desk and the data is accurate and secure.

Thanks.

I'm very impressed with what I've seen so far. LastPass looks to fill almost all of the obvious gaps that other web-based solutions have completely missed. I was wondering if you could answer 2 questions:

1) Could you clarify the proposed iPhone support? Are you talking about an iPhone-formatted web page, or a native application that syncs to my repository? I am hoping you are talking about a native application, since I am an iPod Touch user, and I don't have ubiquitous Internet access.

2) Would you ever consider releasing an open-source version that could be installed on my own personal web server (PHP + MySQL)?

Thanks, and keep up the good work!

First off, LastPass has done a great job. Thanks LastPass team.

A feature I haven't seen but might be useful is profiles. While tags can categories information to aid in filtering and groups put sites into pseudo-containers, profiles would locate/isolate the groups. 2 examples pop to mind:

1) This could be really useful when exporting/importing. Say, I'm an sysadmin, and what to give a field technical a set of passwords --simple export a profile maintained for the field technician job role (and give it to him on a usb agent :o ).

2) Another example, would be allowing your web client plugin at PC 'A' (located at work) use only your 'work' profile while at PC 'B' (located at home) your can use all your profiles --this way if PC 'A' is compromised/you resign/is shared by others, there's no threat to your personal credentials (admittedly, logging off your LastPass plugin would keep it safe, but browser sharing coworkers wouldn't have those passwords).

Profiles would simply give you a top level drill down to 'branch' your groups.

my 2 cents and Thanks Again,
-eathaiku

Hi, I put this in a different topic, but to reiterate: my main desire is for wildcard and/or regular expression support for the url field.
