Images loaded securely on https pages

Postby ferguson » Mon Aug 24, 2009 1:47 am

As a developer I just spent a couple of hours debugging a page that came up as 'Partially Encrypted' in firefox 3.5.2 because the star images included by lastpass were considered insecure.

Obviously this is at least partly the fault of firefox for giving such useless feedback about the source of non-encrypted content in an encrypted page, and possibly entirely since it seems the star images are loaded from the plugin itself and not from anywhere else.

However, given that it's impossible to tell when a page genuinely has a partial encryption problem under the lastpass plugin at the moment, a workaround or solution would be appreciated.

Thanks,

James

You can disable it (we wish Firefox would fix it) see:
