This March 2019 Update is Terrible

Hi.

Wow,

I loved the drop-down menu I've been using the past few years. Now I'm forced to go into my vault to scroll through pages of saved passwords, or search (if I remember the exact name of the site).

This is a real step backward.

Please bring back the simple and intuitive - and time-Saving - drop-down menus.

Thanks,

Tim Anderson

It really is.

You don't have to open the Vault though, you could go through a pointlessly long number of clicks instead.

Icon > All Items > Passwords > Category > Site

Really? What fool came up with this?? Horrible UI.

LastPass has a video embedded in their announcement that explains the new changes:

Just had the update happen. Where's the Favorite pull done gone!!!! Why is it now a three step move to get to me Favorites!!! Typical Software engineering update, no thinking about the impact on users!!!! Grrrrrrhhhhhhhhh.

Whats wrong with Lastpass.

I agree - I always used the old Favorite dropdown as a bookmark tool - it was brilliant. How do I now quickly find these 10 or so frequently used sites now.

As the family IT guy and a huge fan of LastPass I am going to be hammered over this one...

I hate this update. All my info is mangled and I can't fill forms like I did before. Now I have to copy and paste everything. It is very time consuming. I am going to have to find another formfiller service if they don't fix this.

Bring back the old UI

The old browser plug-in UI was so much better. Now I have to dig through too many submenus to get to my sites. What the heck. All Items --> Passwords --> folderName --> mySites. Seriously?! What the heck? Bring back the old interface!

Also, When you're learning my logins to different websites, you can really just assume the ".com". You don't need to make it part of the Name of each entry in the vault.

My husband can not find anything anymore, We need the drop down list back. I have better things to do than to scroll down list. Hate the update.

New Update Issues

I ran the recent update last week. The interface is a step backward.
1.) There is no Favorites section in the initial drop down

2.) The Recently Used section is always empty.

Not good

Yep, I am playing ping-pong with the Indians on the support desk regarding the missing favorites.

So far they have told me to "re-create ALL my autofill data" (LOL!) and to clear the cache, log out and log in again.

Well, how any of that is going to solve an upgrade issue is beyond me, but I did it any way. Guess what? Didn't work!
