Sorry, but it isn't true. There are hundreds of messages complaining about several bugs and interface problems that started after LogMeIn acquisition. Problems are not being solved, and now even Xmarks add-on will not work on Firefox 57.

I made the terrible mistake of paying for five years, and the refund was denied. Since this acquisition, I'm a happy user of KeePass, not having any single problem.

Sometimes I read this forum, just to check if LastPass is still alive, or LogMeIn already kill the service that one day was great...

If they killed LastPass, then there would not be an upcoming interface and product updates.

But having seen the way LogMeIn behaved in the past, I can no longer trust LastPass. Prior to LogMeOut acquiring LP, I had been seeing if I could budget in the premium version, figuring it had some features I could use. Afterwards, not gonna happen. For now I'll use whatever free functionality I can use, will make regularly scheduled exports of the LP data to my home system, and will keep my eyes open for alternatives to move to when ultimately the need arises. Not gonna scream and holler, but am biding my time with the expectation I will have to leave LP sooner or later, because LMI will have forced my hand.

Also ironic that just before LMI's "Ream-Our-Customers" fiasco, I had also been seeing if I could afford moving to some basic tier paid version to get extra functionality. After that I wouldn't lend them a quarter to use a pay toilet (do those even exist anymore?)

Since the acquisition, i've spent more time emailing lastpass as i slowly see security features decline/break from version to version of the plugin...

This is what we get from any acquisition... I fail to see any 'improvement'' since that happened, and until i do, i will treat any acquisition as being 'not good'

There has never been proof that any acquisition gets better over time,, as all companies want are the assets. That's all. which is why LP's security is slowly declining and more features are breaking....

It's not a coincidence.
