LastPass and Yubikey

Trying to get clarification on the usage of LastPass and Yubikey. LastPass is extra security protection, it protects logins on websites as long as you go through LastPass? When my Yubikey is connected and i go to a bank website login, how do i get Yubikey to do a two factor authentication?

Did you make authentication work? My buddy has been using Yubikey. Last time I visit him to help installing the new rack and tonneau cover for his truck, he wanted to use Lastpass as well for as you mentioned, better security. If he will can't make it work, he might totally to switch to lastpass.

LastPass uses Yubikey only when logging in to LastPass itself. LastPass has no influence on how some other site might do two-factor authentication.
