LastPass for Applications & Outlook 2010

Postby CaryRW » Wed Dec 01, 2010 2:29 pm

It appears that LP for A cannot detect the Windows Security dialog that is displayed for password request. Outlook 2007 worked fine, but it broke when I upgraded Office.

Can you take a screenshot of the dialog you can't capture so I can forward to our developers?

with the latest lastapps build, you can right click on the system tray icon for lp and click "Fill Application" and select the dialogue box and it will work. but i'm having the same issue with it not auto-filling without doing that.

Add me to the list too. I just thought it was specific to my system before.

Oh, and can we fix it for Steam login as well? Even the "Fill Application" doesn't work with Steam.

I am having the same problem for Outlook 2007. I think the problem is that the path that lp was trained to is just OUTLOOK.exe and since the login window is a popup, there are two windows open from the same exe (that is my guess). I also have the problem that I have a few password protected subfolders in Outlook that I would like to be able to fill even if it is through right clicking the tray icon. However, if I have multiple passwords and select the window and the password I want, nothing happens. The fill works fine if I only have one password for OUTLOOK.exe, but with 2 it doesn't seem to know what to do. Any advice?

I have forwarded this to our dev team but it may be a few weeks for a fix as we're working on a big project right now and just completed a move of our headquarters. Thanks for your patience.

You can't subscribe in the app - you do so at lastpass.com. Once you do, the next time you log in to the app it should recognize your account status.

Most of the time LP for app doesn't works, and the Learning process should be impproved.
Automatic login for app never works on any app for me, only Box Sync is ok...
