Apple ID Password

Postby glovere » Sat Jan 19, 2013 3:06 pm

Whenever I buy an app on my ipad, i have to enter my appleid password. Is there a way for Lastpass to do that for me. Until now, the only usage I can find is when you have a specific URL. When the password entry comes on the screen, there is no way to get LP to capture it!
thanks

I put this same question to the folks at LastPass and this was their response:
"Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, due to the restrictions that Apple places on 3rd party developers, we are not able to do AutoLogin for the App Store."

I'm not surprised.

I had hoped to use the "applications" function w/in LastPass, but it is evident that this only works with Windows.

Good luck to all. I think this is a fine product.

Jailbreak your phone (do NOT UPDATE to 6.1.3) and download PasswordPilot. PasswordPilot Pro supports more accounts and more apps which ask for your AID.

Against whose policy? There's nothing wrong with jailbreaking to add features Apple won't supply.

"all policies"

You don't even know any of them. There's 1 simple policy you should be concerned about and that is your guarantee. And after restoring your phone, there's no trace of a jailbreak. And if you brick it, go to the Apple Store; if they can't get it to work, you'll get a new one regardless. So far for policy.
