PayPal will not fill in password

Postby denmarks » Sun Feb 26, 2012 11:47 am

The password will not fill in automatically and can not be pasted from the LastPass copy password menu. I must copy it from the vault and paste it in.

I am using Windows 7, Firefox 10.0.2.

I think it worked in the past. Maybe PayPal has done something such as using a script. I can cut and paste so it is not requiring it be actually typed.

I realize this doesn't help, but LastPass is filling in my PayPal login correctly from the "My Vault."

IE9 32bit on Windows 7 64bit.

This is the URL I am using in my save site for Paypal:

https://www.paypal.com

I found the error. I somehow had checked "respect autocomplete=off".

Having a similar issue with Firefox 32.0 on WIN7 Ultimate. It does fill in the password, but is not recognized as correct.

Bummer. Will try IE in a bit.

Same problem here, whatever I try. I must manually type in my password, only then is it recognized as correct. The autofill password is always wrong.

This has been driving me nuts. The same thing is happening to me. I go to www.paypal.com, if I let it auto-fill the password it says it is incorrect. Even if I copy/paste the password from Lastpass it won't work on that screen. If I copy/paste the password, it then takes me to https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run Again, if I let it autofill it won't work, but if I copy/paste the LastPass password it works on that page. Makes no sense at all.
