First of all, I'm very happy with LastPass, and plan on remaining a premium subscriber for the foreseeable future. It does a great job with 99% of my sites.
However, when using my laptop at any Starbucks location, there is a problem getting logged into their WiFi server. It seems all http or https requests (including Lastpass logins) initially get hijacked by http://nmd.XXXXX.wayport.net
, where XXXXX is different for every Starbucks. I am presented with an AT&T login screen. At this point, I'm not yet logged into my vault, so Lastpass is not able to fill in the username/password form for me. If I attempt to login to Lastpass, eventually it gives up and goes into offline mode. But this is kind of a klunky way to get started.
Is there a way to tell Lastpass to go immediately into offline mode on login, then once a connection can be established to the Lastpass server, go into online mode? Or is there a better way to handle this situation?
By the way, I'm running FireFox under the latest Ubuntu version.
