I have three accounts that are handled through this site of Citi.

When I go to this site and use autofill it shows me the 3 sites I can choose from. However, when I use the Login/Fill Bookmarklet I get a LP message stating that "no sites match this domain."

Are these sites password protected? We haven't figured out how to deal with this: we erred on the side of not allowing access... If we did ask for your password for these sites, we'd be forced to do it in the context of that page and a page could be written to take your master password from this -- yes this is incredibly remote but we're worried about it...

I'm not sure what you mean if the site is PW protected. If you mean to do I get a FF message to enter a userid and password the answer is no.

Why should autofill correctly identify the sites whereas the bookmarklets don't? Aren't they essentially he same thing?

I mean if you hit edit on the site, is the 'password protected' checkbox checked? They are the same except for this password protection...

I did an edit on each one of the 3 sites in LP and none of them were password protected ('Password Protect this Site' was unchecked).

This thread reminded me of something confusing in LastPass. The "Password Protect this Site" checkbox is somewhat confusing. It originally gave me the impression briefly the items are not at all password protected.

My boss's wife, who I turned onto LastPass made the mistake of checking that box on all her sites when she would edit them and complained to me of having to constantly type in her master password.

I don't know the best solution but perhaps renaming the checkbox to something like "Double Protect this Site" with a tooltip explaining that by checking this box your master password will need to be entered every time you want to access this site and by keeping it unchecked means it is still protected in your vault.
