This one has me stumped!

Postby Hugh » Wed Feb 25, 2009 8:47 am

I've read the previous posts about multi-step logins, and have noted Joe's comment that LP is smart enough to remember multi-steps, but have found one that has me stumped. This is a financial site I use. When you go to the login page, it presents you with a list of several different types of user, each with a radio button. You click on the appropriate button and then click "logon" at the bottom of the list. This takes you to the correct logon page where you enter your username and password as usual.

When I save this site in LP it completely ignores the first step and tries to do the logon from the first page, which doesn't work. I've tried hitting "Save all entered data" after completing the first page, but this doesn't work either and I get a hung blank page when I try to use it.

I'm using IE7 and Win XP.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Fixed it!

Actually, I've fixed this problem by the simple expedient of editing the site in LP and putting in the URL of the correct login page as the site address.

Don't know why I didn't think of that before!
