Link Broken in "PLEASE READ BEFORE REPORTING A WEBSITE"

Postby ralph351 » Fri Dec 28, 2018 10:28 am

The pinned instructional post for this forum viewtopic.php?f=13&t=151275 starts with instructions to try "Save All Entered Data" feature and includes a link to https://helpdesk.lastpass.com/adding-a-site/#h1

If you click the link you end up at https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass#h1 the log me last pass home page, not the intended topic. If an admin reads this, can you get that link updated so people can get details on how to use the "Save All Entered Data" function?

Capital One Login Won't Fill in Firefox

Postby ralph351 » Fri Dec 28, 2018 10:31 am

1) Have you tried to save your login details using the "Save All Entered Data" feature?
- No, the link in the top level post to instructions for this feature is broken

2) In what web browser are you experiencing an issue capturing your login details?
- Browser: Firefox 64
- OS: Mac OS X 10.12

2b) Have you tried to capture your login details using different web browsers?
Yes, capturing the data works fine in multiple browsers just not the auto-fill in Firefox. Auto fill works just fine in Chrome

3) Whenever possible, please include the exact login page URL.

Another one with the same problem...found postings on this from 2017 on this forum, Firefox and LastPass not filling in credentials on Capital One login page. No solution then. My Firefox version 64.0.2, Windows 10 Pro Version 1803, for reference. But like I said, this is apparently a longstanding outage...the Firefox version mentioned in the older postings was in the 50's. Nice to keep traditions going, I suppose:

LastPass Firefox Toolbar
Version: 4.23.1
Built: Tue Jan 22 2019 15:49:45 GMT+0000 (UTC)
Binary Component: true (Native Messaging version 4.1.55, built Mar 21 2018 16:56:37)

Note that this works fine with LastPass and Chrome. Just switched from Chrome to Firefox this week due to other Chrome bugs, and this LastPass problem crops up. This isn't as bad as the Chrome bugs I was seeing, so I'll be staying with Firefox. Nice, though, if I didn't have to manually fill these fields in via cut-and-paste *smile*.

Same problem here. Copy/paste does not work either.

It's a known bug even on macOS according to tech support the last time I contacted them.

Best thing to do is to submit support tickets — strength in numbers.

I know it's a PITA to submit support tickets, and it is a PITA that we are losing productivity time over this. All those clicking + copy/paste times add up!!
