Why isn't this fixed yet?

It is a LastPass problem. LastPass isn't picking up the user/password fields on the page. LastPass works find on Chrome and Opera, but not Firefox.

I was having the same problem. I was able to use LastPass autofill with the following Capital One URL:

The regular "" site will not work with LastPass.

Capital One Costco

I am unable to use LAST PASS to log into the Costco Capital One website.

This is the URL - ... oduct=Card

It will NOT fill in the user name and pw. It worked until the website did something different with the long in.

Would be great to have a fix for this, very annoying (and insecure) to have to copy my password in cleartext.

I submitted a support ticket about this and got the following response:
Yes, we understand that it will work on Chrome but not with Firefox because those browsers has a different functionality and LastPass works differently on sites between those browsers.

To which I replied:
While Firefox is different than Chrome in some respects, it's a modern mainstream browser that I would expect to be fully supported by Lastpass. In fact, Firefox now uses the exact same WebExtensions API that Chrome does for its extensions.

The fact that the Lastpass Firefox extension doesn't work properly with the website of a Fortune 500 company like Capital One should be considered a bug and fixed.

I just tried both the 1Password and Dashlane Firefox extensions with the Capital One website, and both filled the login form with no problem. If Lastpass refuses to fix this problem I'll be switching to one of those.

I'd suggest anyone else wanting to see this fixed also submit support tickets at and maybe that'll get their attention (afaik they never look at this "customer-to-customer" forum).

Personally, my family plan trial expires in a month and I'm not inclined them another cent with such poor customer support.

Latest response from Lastpass support:
Please rest assured that we have reported this issue to our higher department already however, we cannot give you an ETA on when this will be resolved.

switching to Chrome. It works fine there. Will consider other password manager, even though I have been a paid lastpass
user for a few years

Hey folks, I found a workaround!!

On FF59, install the Noscript extension and use a custom filter for the website.

uncheck the "frame" box and poof! lastpass autofill works!
