Chrome + Allow Access to File URLs

Postby nickcjr » Wed Aug 11, 2010 2:55 pm

I recently saw that the latest beta version of Chrome has an option labelled, "Allow access to file URLs" next to the LastPass extension. Does anyone know what this means? Will LP not work properly if it is not allowed?

We had a few requests that we support local file passwords which we attempted to add -- it won't impact you to turn it off -- (though there is really no reason to turn it off).

ok, but what does it mean? Can you give an example how this new LastPass feature would work?

It means if you develop on a box and login to file:///C:/dev/test.html LastPass would be able to work on this page...
