I fixed mine by changing an option within Chrome itself. Go into Chrome's settings Settings>On Startup>Advanced>System uncheck "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed".

LastPass extension has successfully logged out automatically when I close the browser since I changed that option.

Same problem - Lastpass enabled whenever Safari started, but "Log out when all browsers are closed" is checked. Works OK on Chrome.
Safari 13.1 on macOS 10.15.4
Lastpass 4.46.0

I opened a problem with Lastpass.

Your case number is 13195911

You can email them at support-replies@logmein.com using this case number to complain about the issue or open your own.

I got an email asking me to unplug my mouse and leave it that way for 15 minutes to correct the problem.

I wouldn't use the reply email listed above to open a ticket. This FAQ shows the proper way to open a case with LastPass.

Same here, MAC, Windows. Had the problem a year ago. Firefox fixed it. Now it's back.

This is an edit suite so locking three machines before I step away isn't always an option.

It's what I do when I can.

Need a fix or I have to uninstall.
