glennd Wrote:Hi, I believe that if you hibernate your PC the computer clock stops so the extension time out does as well. The logout is happening locally on the computer so that is not going to happen when the OS is suspended like that.

It didn't work that way a year ago. No the clock doesn't stop. Is your time wrong when you wake from hibernation? Perhaps they are using a timer that suspends with sleep & hibernation - a dumb idea for a timeout based on real time. Simple enough to log the time regularly and check the clock when woken from sleep to check the elapsed time and force a logout.

I am having the same problem. The LastPass extension does not automatically close after a set period of time or when the browser is closed in either Chrome or Firefox.. I turned off the option in Chrome to have the Chrome extensions run in the background, but that did not fix the problem.

Running version 4.41.2 on a Mac and a Win 10 machine. Both set to log off in 5 minutes and neither machine will comply. What is the time line for the patch to this issue?

MacOS 10.15.3 with 4.41.1 extension not working. Has LastPass development team acknowledged this issue?

I too am experiencing this at our organization. Three team members have reported the problem and I have noticed it myself. Unfortunately, the issue is intermittent. I'll walk away from my desk and it will time out - another time in the span of the same day, it will not log off. I am on a Windows 10 Pro machine with Chrome version 80.0.3987.106 (Official Build) (64-bit), LastPass Version: 4.41.0

sorry - just saw solution below. Updating now to 4.41.2

However, the issue that still persists is when I manually login, it displays the "Welcome to LastPass" web page on a new tab.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi, we are aware but did not want to delay releasing the fix. This should be addressed in our regularly scheduled update next week.

Hi Glenn,

I'm now on v4.41.2 and if that's the version you meant, then I'm afraid the issue is still occurring with the "How It Works" tab.

Hello all,
I'm using LastPass extension on Chrome for Mac.
Last Pass log out automatically every 10-15min. despite the fact, that in settings is set 180min.(by the way, this settings are in grey and can't be changed).
My browser version is 80.0.3987.106. My colleague is using 79.0.3945.130 and do not have any problems.
Any advices?

I am having the same problem and Logmein has not responded to my notices. Once they wrote that the issue has been resolved, but it has not and I have not been contacted. There is no phone number to talk to a tech.
