However, the issue that still persists is when I manually login, it displays the "Welcome to LastPass" web page on a new tab.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi, we are aware but did not want to delay releasing the fix. This should be addressed in our regularly scheduled update next week.

The new version of the LastPass extension has been published Version: 4.41.1, it should update automatically but some of you may need to restart Chrome to apply it.

Thanks Glenn! For me the patch updated automatically; no restart needed (Chrome on Win10).

Lastpass extension not autologging out

Postby cli333 » Wed Feb 12, 2020 2:40 pm

For the last 2/3 weeks, the LastPass extension has not logged me out after my specified time of amount of inactivity (1 min). This is such a dangerous bug, I rely on the auto log out for security, and anyone who gets access to my computer while I'm away for 10 seconds can look at all of my passwords.

Have checked both machines, A Mac and a windows 10 PC. Neither have updated to 4.41.1. Both are 4.41.0. Restarted both machines and both are at .0. What am I missing?

I updated the Chrome extension to 4.41.1 and the problem was resolved. Thanks Glenn!

Note - i had to remove the old Chrome Lastpass extension and then reinstalled the new one from within the chrome extension link: chrome://extensions/
