Incorrect Login to USAA

When I bring up the USAA.com logon page (www.usaa.com/inet/ent_logon/Logon) and let the LastPass plugin fill in the username and password, pressing 'Log On' button generates an error. When I manually copy the password from my card in my LastPass vault, then press the 'Log On' button, the logon succeeds. This failure is also repeated if I try to launch from my password vault.

I don't understand why the autofill doesn't work buy my manual copy from the clipboard does. I'm using Firefox 68.0.2 but I also get this behavior from Chrome. I've been experiencing this for a year now.

I just ran into this same problem and think I solved it. It has to do with the URL that is saved with the USAA entry in the LastPass vault.

To solve it:

- Log out of USAA and close that browser window.
- In a new browser tab or window, enter usaa.com
- Click on log in, in the upper right corner
- Your URL should now be something like: https://www.usaa.com/inet/ent_logon/Logon
- In the USAA entry in the LastPass vault, paste that URL as the URL at the top of the entry and save.
- Now you should be able to use autofill, at least when starting from a clean new window.

I have the same problem with Chase.com. I tried your suggestion and its still telling me my password is incorrect. If I open the vault and edit the Chase entry, then manually copy the password and past it in the login field then it works. This has happened to other family members using different accounts, different computers. I was using the latest Chrome browser for Mac. I decided to try it on Firefox and it worked fine so it looks like maybe a problem with the LastPass Chrome extension???
