Log in to LastPass using Firefox not working

Postby shepsonline440 » Fri Aug 16, 2019 12:29 am

Hi,

I can no longer log in to LastPass using Firefox. I enter my credentials, hit enter and LastPass app seems to be in an endless loop as it tries to log me in. I have successfully logged in using Edge. How do I fix this?

Lastpass 4.31.2.3 on Firefox 68.02 - I am unable to log in
Lastpass 4.31.23 on Firefox 68.01 works on another PC (but alas is awaiting to restart to finish update!)

I am having the same issue everyone else has been having with Firefox and the newest Lastpass update. A workaround that has worked for me, is when I get the spinning login screen, I will log into the lastpass website on another tab and it will log my addon in. May work for others.

Seriously considering Lastpass viability

Postby Muzio1964 » Fri Aug 16, 2019 11:12 am

Hello all,

Please tell me there is a solution...

I have been putting up with a clunky login procedure all this year and now its well and truly broken.

I'm running FF 68.0.2, LP 4.31.2.3 and win 10 (1903)

LP now refuses to log me in from the FF extension. I don't run chrome, IE, or any other browser.

another annoyance is that when I try to log in the screen defaults to a new user, so I have to do extra mouse clicks to get to the having an existing account screen, minor in nature, I know, but its amplified by my current frustrations.

Please people... give me hope and faith.

Identical situation as Noneshallpass. Can't login with the latest version of Firefox but login is successful with Microsoft Edge. I really prefer Firefox and hope you resolve this problem soon. Please...Please...Please

I am also having the same problem. Yubikey on Firefox. 68.0.01 with the latest extension. Spinning circle with no login screen. Plus I keep getting the "Grant Permissions" question when launching the extension. I always run in Private Browsing, if that matters.

Somehow it started working on my mac. No change on Windows. I've downgraded manually through every version down to 4.27.2.10 no change.
:/

I guess LastPass has just become the safest tool on the net.
It doesn't let anyone in, not even the owner ;)

Yes. Same issue. Windows 10 and on my Mac. Attempt to login. Asked to accept permissions. Username, password, spinning wheel goes round and round.

Yeah, I have had the same issue.

I also downgraded to the previous version (4.29.0.4) and it works.

You can downgrade by going to the Addon page for Firefix and selecting previous versions, and install the older one (you have to remove the new one first).
