Windows desktop app - MFA issue / query

I have the windows desktop app installed and have multifactor authentication enabled on my account. When I login to the app I am prompted for my username / password. After successfully authenticating I am presented password list briefly before being prompted from my MFA pin (I use Microsoft Authenticator). If I enter an incorrect PIN I get an message indicating this - however I still have access to view all the stored passwords. I can add passwords but they are not successfully saved to the account.

Is this expected behaviour?
