chrome plug-in throws error when using angular forms

Postby gcretotrichert » Fri Jul 05, 2019 2:49 pm

Using angular forms on our application, when hitting Enter to submit the form, I get the following error in the chrome console:

onloadwff.js:71 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'type' of undefined
at e.setFieldValue (onloadwff.js:71)
at HTMLFormElement.formKeydownListener (onloadwff.js:71)

It does not seem to affect the behavior, but we do like a clean console when testing our applications.

This also happens in react, see for instance https://github.com/mui-org/material-ui/issues/14860
Please solve this - I am sure this bugs a lot of devs using lastpass

It also happens using ais-instantsearch by Algolia:

onloadwff.js:71 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'type' of undefined
at e.setFieldValue (onloadwff.js:71)
at HTMLFormElement.formKeydownListener (onloadwff.js:71)

It does mess with the expected behaviour of that element, because the onKeyDown event is now no longer being triggered. :|

+1

Like someone said, especially concerning when you can't test keydown. LastPass please fix this! :x

This is causing issues with Vue.js applications too.
