Having been invited to a shared folder, I'm trying to verify my email so I can accept the invite. I select send, wait a few seconds, receive the email, then click the link in the email. On the page that opens, I get the message:
Sorry, the link you have requested has expired.
If you have already clicked on this link once, it may be a one time use link and you will need to generate a new email.
I have tried this five times now with the same result each time.
I'm using macOS 10.13.6, Chrome 71, and Microsoft Outlook desktop client for emails. I've also tried connecting to my phone's mobile hotspot instead of the work network, which obviously didn't help. I've also tried logging into Outlook webmail in Chrome to get the email and click the link there, and still no change.
Please can someone advise what to do, as I do need access to shared work logins?
