LastPass Family - can't sync updated passwords between users

I'm managing a LastPass Family subscription consisting of 3 users (myself included) and I'm experiencing a synchronization issue. Any changes done on my sites that I have shared with the two other users are only updated for my user for both Android (after performing manual vault refresh in app) and browser - not for the other two user.
Use of LastPass is done through latest version of LastPass Android app or browser (Edge v42.17134.1.0 and Chrome v70.0.3538.110, no LastPass plugin, no previous cookies). Please note that I haven't checked if this issue is affecting other shared items.

For the other users we have tried the following:
* Refresh vault in the app did not resolve the issue.
* Clear LastPass cache in the app did not resolve the issue.
* Clearing cache in Android settings did not resolve the issue
* Clearing all data of the app in Android settings did not resolve the issue.
* Uninstalling and then reinstalling the app did not resolve the issue.
* Logging in through the browser did not resolve the issue (details of the shared site had not been updated)
* Logging in, out and then in again through the browser (LastPass help pages mentions that changes are uploaded in browser upon logging out)

What does work (kinda) is the following:
* I revoke the share
* Other user delete the shared item (since it still remains in their vaults after being revoked!).
* I share the item (with updated details) once more.
* The other user accept the share and refresh the vault.
Please note that the process above needs to be repeated for any subsequent updates on the shared site.

I've reported the issue to LastPass on the 2018-12-03 21:19 CET and according to them there have been similar reports. When checking this forum I can't see that this issue has been reported here so I would like to reach out to the community to ask if someone else is experiencing the same issue?

I have a similar problem. Have reported my findings but do not get satisfactory answers.

It seems that if shares do not get updated to the people that are sharees LastPass should clearly say so.
It has caused me lots of problems so people no longer trust or want to use LastPass.
Not updating changes seems a serious fault.

To find out what is shares I used the sharing center and reported

It seems that shared in shared folders does not show up in the shared with me / shared with others - is this correct?

got this partial response:
- Yes, if its a shared folder, you will see the folder itself in the sharing center > manage shared folder section but the contents will be shown directly in your vault.

Have been trying to understand the logic of sharing so I generated a truth table:

have a table that makes the logic clear but there does not seem to be an attach in this blog

For Free user
Site shared to a free user does not get updated
sharee changes not fed back to sharer
Site shared to a premium user does not get updated
sharee changes not fed back to sharer

For Premium user
Site shared to a free user does not get updated
sharee changes not fed back to sharer
Site shared to a premium user does get updated - supposed to but could not get this to work
sharee changes not fed back to sharer

For Family user:
Site shared to a free user does not get updated
sharee changes not fed back to sharer
Site shared to a premium user does get updated
sharee changes not fed back to sharer
Site shared to a family user via a family share does get updated
sharee changes not fed back to sharer if read only
Site shared to a family user via a family share does get updated
sharee changes fed back to sharer if administrator

Same here. I just took the Family trial, trying to convince the wife to use lastpass instead of paper and pen and memory. If we can't easily sync passwords I don't see the use of shared Folders!

@DingoBongo When you update a shared password, is it then also updated on the account that you shared it with? I tried the following just now:

From my LastPass Family admin account (LFAA) I shared a site (can view the password) with a LastPass Family member (LFM).
- Result: LFM receives the invite and can see the shared site details.
I then changed the password on the shared site from LFAA and logged out. I then log on the LFM account.
- Result: LFM only sees the outdated site details.

Yes, It updated. However, it is confusing because according to this page:

it's not supposed to be updated (if I understand well). I don't have access to the other account as of now, I will try to do it later. The item I updated was in a shared folder (instead of being shared directly), I don't know if that's the trick?
