User cant reset password

I'm having issues with a user not being able to reset their password. Their normal password works to log them into the password reset page, but when they go to change it. They get the following error - We also tried forcing a password reset and they get the same thing. Any help would be appreciated.

"Your settings could not be updated. Please retry later. Error=2"
"Error: J :error sub error="

This has been reported to LastPass developers and it is currently being investigated with top priority.

Wow! It's 2019 and they still haven't fixed this problem!! It only impacts some people so they tell me it's not critical.
I did open up a ticket and the best they can tell me is no ETA.
Bye bye LastPass.
Truly unbelievable they don't consider this a critical bug. :(
