Yep, all these LogMeIn idiots will tell you is to disable all addons, which is never actually the issue. I've had so many problems with LastPass across different accounts and devices that I am looking for an alternative for my personal accounts. Sadly, I will still have to use this trash at work.

EDIT: WOW! I didn't realize this thread was 9 pages long and they are basically ignoring the issue. I'll be talking to my boss about ditching LP as they obviously don't care about jack shit at this point.

This has been driving me crazy for a while now. I finally uninstalled and reinstalled both the universal and the xpi and it's working again (for now).

Firefox x64 63.0.1
lastpass_x64.exe 4.19.0.0
addon 4.19.0.5

Good luck.

Edit: Aaaaand it's broken again. :(

Interesting tidbit: I just upgraded Firefox from 63.0.1 to 63.0.3 which obviously necessitates a restart of the browser. LastPass stayed logged in. If I close the broswer manually and open it again, LastPass gets logged out. Could this be a Mozilla issue?

Edit: I restarted a couple times more after the upgrade and now I don't get logged out! :D

@MysteryMen -- Still not having issues? I have all the same versions, but I'm still getting logged out.

Firefox x64 63.0.3
lastpass.exe 4.19.0.0
Add-on 4.19.0.5

When you installed lastpass.exe, did you leave Firefox checked for browser add-ons? Did you leave "Automatically log me into LastPass when my browser starts" checked?

@GreenLeaf Still working, believe it or not. I've slept since 11/09, but I only did the install for Firefox in lastpass.exe if that helps any. I don't remember the "Automatically log me into LastPass" option. It seems like I had Firefox open when I ran lastpass.exe so after that was installed I restarted the browser and then manually downloaded the latest xpi (file name was lastpass_password_manager-4.17.1.7-an+fx.xpi, strangely enough). The kicker is that none of that helped at all until FF updated itself.

Currently about:addons is showing the same extension version as you (4.19.0.5).

Edit: Had an extra word

I opened a ticket for this and after going through all their usual suggestions (which didn't work, of course), I posted a reply to their lastest with a link to this discussion. Aha! Finally got a real answer. No solution as yet, but at least they know it's a problem.

"I apologize for any inconvenience caused. We appreciate the update.

Wow, one of the first admissions from LastPass that this widespread bug is consistently reproducible across a swath of users and not isolated to particular accounts.

I've had the same experience: it works for a few weeks, then it breaks, then it works, then it breaks.

Here's to hoping by New Year 2020, this thread will have died an abrupt death as the fix will have actually been released.

I noticed that this wasn't happening on one PC with same Firefox version as this laptop. I refreshed Firefox here and it's working for the last 15 minutes.
This is one password that I will never forget!

Yes! A Firefox refresh does fix the issue for some people some of the time. I've done it three times now and I'm tired of setting everything up again. I hope it can be a permanent solution for you: I wouldn't mind if it was a "one-off" refresh, honestly.

Sadly, Refresh forces you to re-enter all website notifications ("Do you want to allow regrettable-website.com to give you notifications?"), all extension settings, the entire toolbar, download actions, and any search engine shortcuts.
