Staying logged in to LP

Postby schott99 » Sat Aug 12, 2017 5:56 pm

Evertime I close my Firefox browser, LP signs me out. When I start another browser session, I have to enter my email and master password. I have done all the things in the FAQ, including making sure the preference auto logoff is not checked. This just started happening in the last week.

if you go to firefox's about:config and search for dom.storage.enabled is it set to true? If you disable dom storage Lastpass won't be able to see that you set that preference.

dom.storage.enabled is it set to true but in Firefox I must put in the password every time.

getting same issue, using firefox version 55.0.3 and followed steps to check if cookies allowed and LP not set to auto log out, everything is set how its always been set but now LP wont stay logged in and its becoming very frustrating having to keep logging in all time, by the looks of it its an issues no 1 has solved yet

I'm on Firefox 56.0 and now can't stay logged into Last Pass. I have to log back in every time I close Firefox. I have checked all suggestions on this topic and still I can keep it logged in.

I'm also encountering this issue. Upgrading to Firefox 57.0 did not help. All extensions disabled. Relogged and restarted multiple times, deleted all LastPass cookies and tried again, reinstalled LastPass and tried again. Still getting a sad grey icon every launch. Oddly enough email is not being remembered either. Working fine on Chrome though. Would be very grateful for a fix here

After struggling with this forever, I think I managed to solve it by A) disabling firefox syncing logins (Options->Firefox Account->Sync Settings), then B) running CCleaner on everything in the Firefox section (all the checkboxes)

FF Quantum (57 /64bit)Creating a new profile and re-downloading LP solved it for me. But upon resetting FF I think I may have stumbled upon the setting in FF giving us problems. Went back and tweaked original FF Profile and no more logouts. Noticed FF was logging me out of my gmail account too.
My Fix:
Tools>Options>Privacy&Security>
clear/uncheck "Clear History when FF closes" It may be enough to just leave the cookies; didn't test that.

Anyone have any other ideas? LP logs out each time I close Firefox 58.0.1 (64 bit), and nothing I have tried fixes it. Unrelated (I think), LP will not remeber my email or my password even when I have the options checked.
