Foxmarks and Lastpass

Postby mritchie » Wed Sep 24, 2008 7:28 pm

Hi,

I'm using the Foxmarks extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410) along with lastpass (1.31). For some reason Foxmarks doesn't like it if I import its password to lp and remove it from the Firefox password manager. Foxmarks will just ask me for the password again and then store it in the Firefox manager.

If you need any other info, let me know.

Thanks,

Matt

I don't import it, but it would be nice if it was able to be imported. Then I wouldn't have to have any passwords in the Firefox manager.

Unfortunately all these extensions work directly with the built-in password manager, and so it's easiest to just leave the 'Chrome' passwords in the password manager. Perhaps in the future we'll look at taking over that object so we can do as you suggest.

LastPass no longer asks you to import chrome urls (internal application passwords).

Version 1.31 pre hit the pre-build team today.
