gizmo78 Wrote:ok, I found out how to share a site (thanks Joe) and I think it could be useful for me. One question I have before I dive-in, if I share a site/password does it update when/if the password is changed? How about it the person I share the site with changes the password?
gizmo78 Wrote:p.s. in the 'nice to have' department it would be helpful to have a link to all the help files (faq's, videos, forums, more?) from the users home page. Right now if you want to see faq's for example you need to go into the forums and find the link to it. Maybe not a priority now, but an 'all encompassing' support center would be nice.
Also, I saw a neat feature of forum posts on avsforum.com. When you create a new post it searches the forums for a solution/related post while you're typing your message. Half the time you wind up abandoning your post...which helps the user and even more important decreases workload for support staff. It's an automatic implementation of the "please search before you ask us a question rule" They use vbulletin, but if you want to stick with PHPbb I'd check if they have the feature and bug'em it they don't.
