In my "Tools" drop-down menu from the LastPass toolbar in IE, it says "update vailable". When I click on it, I am told "an update is currently downloading you will be prompted when the update is complete." No download was started and, days later, still isn't completed - so an actual update is impossible. I am running 1.69 but understand there is now version 1.70. Viste 64-bit. Recommendations? Thanks

No uninstall in the LastPass dropdown from its toolbar, no uninstall from its listing in the Start menu, no uninstall in its folder in Programsx86 and not even a listing for LastPass in the Uninstall/Change section of Control Panel. Very well hid! Help!
IE add-on manager only lets you temporarily disable an add-on -- not remove it. I don't have a problem with having to do an uninstall before doing an update (although it certainly indicates 2nd class programming) but to require it and then not permit it is really "unusual". If I had known it was going to be this difficult to do an update -- and vitrually impossible to do an uninstall - I never would have downloaded it. I'm supposed to trust my passwords etc. to something this poorly programmed?
