Lastpass prompting to install, but no new version

Don't know for sure, but the update prompt shows up more often if Firefox is opened. Attached is the "about" screen shot from Firefox's LastPass.

You should see it every login if this is happening -- is that not the pattern? We do expect you to get this once every few months as we release new versions if that's the frequency you're seeing this...

The issue is the update prompt shows up when there is no update.

What I did was:
1) open FireFox
2) open IE8
3) check if update prompt shows up
4) if not, close ie8 and repeat 2 - 3
5) If update prompt shows up, either allow it to update or dismiss it
6) repeat step 2 -3

In the span of less than 5 minutes, I can see the update prompt more than once.

Thanks, I think we may have discovered why you are still being prompted.

If you go to your Windows Temp dir (type %TEMP% into the input box your the Windows Start button) and delete all lastpass_* files, it should stop.

We have added a fix in the code that will be available in the next release.
