Importing WiFi passwords on Windows 10 desktop

Postby mvhaddad812 » Thu Jan 19, 2017 10:13 pm

Hello,

With Internet Explorer 11 running on a Windows 10 desktop, I was able to import WiFi passwords as SafeNotes, just by using the LP icon on the IE11 browser and then selecting tools>import from WiFi. How is that possible? The passwords reside in a password manager and in the password-protected router. Does the ability of LastPass to find them mean they are not secure?

Regards,

Mike

These are pre-established formats which LastPass has direct integration for import.
