It's done and has been done for closing in on 2 months but it is stuck in bureaucracy land -- no telling when it will escape.

Real sorry to hear that. I have been looking for days to find the right solution and this is an awesome one. As a workaround in the mean time, can we read the content of the file offline both on the iphone and on our PC? I believe I read we can and the only limitation is no updates can be made, is that correct? Is there anything we can do as a User Community to help remove some of the Red Tape?

While waiting, have you been using the bookmarklets? They aren't bad as an alternative.

Yeah, I've been using the bookmarklets but there is nothing like using a full app. Yeah I'll admit that it is better than nothing.

I never could get the Bookmarklett thing to work or maybe I can not figure out the concept behind it. I need to be able to not only auto login to sites with my iPhone in the field, but also be able to look up information as well. I have not been able to get either to work. The Desktop solution works flawlessly, but I need a solution for my handheld as well. I can live with a work around, but I can not get that workaround to work and there is not enough thorough instructions available to cover 1) Looking up information on your iPhone and 2) Auto Login with your iPhone .
Also, what is the holdup with Apple? Is this common that they would drag their feet when a solid solution is provided to them? Is there anything we can do as a user community to help PROMOTE the release of your product? Thanks for your support.

Am I to assume there just won't be any useful reply to my query of how to get the booklets to work? And what is this about having the application ready for months? I am reading on numerous boards it takes two weeks to get an application approved once submitted? I am going from loving this app to being a bit put off by the non-response.

Safari: If you don't have a place to drag the bookmarklet, you'll need to click 'View', then show the Bookmarks Bar. For the iPhone, store this on your desktop browser and sync it to your iPhone. You may need to click on the device in iTunes, then go to the Info tab and ensure Sync bookmarks with is selected to the browser you saved the bookmarklet on. In otherwords, make the link in IE or Safari (whatever you use to sync to your iphone) and then sync the bookmarklets over. When you are on a page that needs to be logged into, hit the bookmarklet link and the magic *ought* to work.

Do you think LP would keep an approved application a secret? Do you think LP has any influence over Apple? Hang tight - you'll be rewarded.

E,
Thank You. I finally recognized how this works or at least what will work for me. The portion I was having difficulty with was the concept of the final step of clicking on the booklet and where to get it for each page, then I noticed when I went to http://m.lastpass.com the following:

"You are now logged in, and your bookmarklets are active! You can browse to sites and hit your bookmarklet to be logged in.

If you need your account list you can continue. Depending on the number of accounts and your browser this can be slow."

Being able to continue to the account list is really what end users need. From there I could click and log on and/or see any Notes associated to each account. I believe this will get me by and this program is the best and I wish you all the best as well. We look forward to the iPhone release soon.
